Hi All
It has been almost 20 days since my last blog post. After I finished my money diet last month, I had a bad cold and then it snowed. That week I mainly stayed on the couch. The next week was filled with many birthday events (some still to come!). I love birthdays that last several weeks to a month.
I've also been working with the book Feng Shui and Money a good deal. The book is laid out as a 9 week workbook, each week using one of the Feng Shui sections to look at our lives and our abundance. I just started on the second chapter.
Lesson one is about the center or Tai Chi of your house and takes a look at what's going on with the center. So I found the center, which is exactly where I sit most of the time. After finding the Tai Chi point I realized I had several things I needed to do. One was to get the hanging lamp at the center point fixed. It turned out to be really simple and was done in such a short time I wondered why I hadn't done it before now. I unhooked it from the ceiling and headed off to Home Depot. Then I asked a guy in the lighting department what I needed to do to fix it. And he fixed it! In less than 10 minutes I had walked in the door, watched him fix it, paid $3.99 for the switch and was back in my car on my way home. Then another 10 minutes at home to hang the light again, plug it in and turn it on! Done! Home Depot can be a great resource!
Another part of lesson one was to describe my life if I had unlimited money and from that writing to pick 3 adjectives that best described what abundance would feel like for me. At first I had one list of three things, then I crossed that list off and wrote another.
My three words that describe wealth and abundance for me are Comfort, Trust and Enough. Now I'm working on what I can do to acknowledge and manifest those right now. I'll let you know what happens.
Feng Shui and Money by Eric Shaffert is turning out to be a great resource for my Abundance Pilgrimage.
